SHIPPING POLICY

Pinny Planet is based in the USA! Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING:

Yes! Pinny Planet ships WORLDWIDE! We ship to ALL countries except Germany (please read below for update on shipping to Germany)! Yes, we can even ship to Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and the EU.

Note: As of June 2022, I will not be able to take orders from Germany due to seller policy changes

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:

Pinny Planet does not collect or remit any international taxes, customs, or any additional fees. Any import duties/taxes/fees will be collected by your country when it reaches customs. Customers are responsible for these additional fees. Your package may be delayed while being held by customs. All fees must be paid  for the package to be released to you. Pinny Planet is not responsible for these fees and not responsible for helping to contact your country's customs department for release.

By placing an order with Pinny Planet, it is your responsibility to abide by your country's laws and policies. If your order is seized by customs, we are not responsible for product losses or shipping funds. If fees are rejected, the package will not return back to us and a refund cannot be processed.

ALTERNATE OPTION: We do have an extension to our shop on Etsy! If you are more comfortable using Etsy as an International buyer, please feel free to check out our shop here. Etsy will collect and remit tax to your country, but we will only have a select amount of products available on Etsy. 

VAT & CUSTOMS POLICY:

  • All orders are shipped via USPS First Class Package and will have tracking and insurance! From there, your package will be delivered by your local post office. Shipping carriers like UPS or FEDEX are not used, as they are notorious for charging extra international fees for their service.

  • As stated above, I am NOT responsible for any VAT, customs, and/or additional fees your country may collect. Customers are responsible for paying these fees.

CANADA:

  • YES! I am shipping to Australia and New Zealand! Although there are restrictions applied to the United States Postal Service, it does not affect how I ship my packages! I use a discounted Global Shipping Service to ship my International orders! Please read below on how your orders are shipped!

  • As stated above, I am NOT responsible for any VAT, customs, and/or additional fees your country may collect. Customers are responsible for paying these fees.

AUSTRALIA & NEW ZEALAND:

  • Pinny Planet can now ship to the UK & EU again!

  • UK & EU orders will be shipped via a discounted Global Shipping service! This service is responsible for shipping your package from the US to your country. Once it is scanned into your country, they are then brought to your local post office and delivered by your local post office. Shipping carriers like UPS or FEDEX are not used, as they are notorious for charging extra international fees for their service.

UK & EU:

  • All orders to the rest of the world will be shipped via a discounted Global Shipping service! This service is responsible for shipping your package from the US to your country. Once it is scanned into your country, they are then brought to your local post office and delivered by your local post office. Shipping carriers like UPS or FEDEX are not used, as they are notorious for charging extra international fees for their service.

  • As stated above, I am NOT responsible for any VAT, customs, and/or additional fees your country may collect. Customers are responsible for paying these fees.

REST OF THE WORLD:

  • We do have an extension to our shop on Etsy! If you are more comfortable using Etsy as an International buyer, please feel free to check out our shop here. Etsy will collect and remit tax to your country, but we will only have a select amount of products available on Etsy.

ETSY:

  • All orders are processed within 7 - 14 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. Please note processing time is not “delivery” time, as that depends on how quickly the carrier delivers your order and is out of my control. Processing time is the time it takes for me to check your order, pack your items, and drop off at my local post office. During times with high order volumes, processing time can be about 7-21 business days. This will be conveyed to buyers in the note at the top of my website and in your confirmation email. You will receive another automated email with the tracking number, signifying that your shipping label has been made and your order has begun the process of shipment. This is provided about 1-2 weeks in advance so customers can ensure they have inputted their correct delivering address or if any changes to the order need to be made. This also helps me as the seller to schedule your drop off date to the post office. Please make sure to check your spam or promotions folder for this tracking email as email hosts tend to sort my automated emails into these folders. Once USPS receives the package, the tracking will update within 24-48 hours from the drop off date and you will be able to tracking your package until delivered.

  • Shipping upgrades are available at checkout. Please Note This Does NOT Change the processing time! It only changes how your item will ship after it is processed in the stated time. Priority and Priority Express will be much quicker than regular First Class Shipping, so feel free to choose the shipping selection best suited for you! Although I already ship out fairly quickly, if you need something shipped the next day or you want to inquire about receiving your items by a specific date, feel free to email me at pinnyplanet@gmail.com before your purchase to see if I'm able to help you! Most likely I can, but please let me know beforehand!

PROCESSING TIME:

  • We are responsible for your purchase until it reaches the Post Office. After that, it is out of our control, and we recommend that you select USPS Priority or Priority Express shipping service for added protection. Insurance is to protect against lost or damaged packages during shipping. If you choose not to buy insurance and your purchase is lost or damaged by USPS, we cannot guarantee a refund. All purchases are shipped by USPS and insured through USPS (if you decide to insure).

  • In the case that your shipment is lost or damaged in transit; you are responsible to file the claim with USPS, but you are not alone! If you need help with this, feel free to contact me at pinnyplanet@gmail.com. I can help you step-by-step on how to go about filing a claim with USPS with your lost or damaged package. Below, I will also list recommendations if the tracking of your package has stopped updating and/or if you cannot find your delivered mail.

  • We are not responsible for shipments sent to forwarding services or companies regardless of shipping service selected. If you place an order and your shipping address is a forwarding address, you are responsible for contacting your forwarding company or service to locate your shipment.

  • We are also not responsible to weather related damage or delays. Once the package leaves our hands, it is completely out of our control!

  • Please make sure your address is correct before placing order we will not be responsible for incorrect addresses. First Class Mail Packages are NOT insured, if you would like to purchase insurance for your package please select USPS Priority or Express shipping service. Once again we are not responsible for the package once it transfers to USPS, it is then their responsibility to deliver and handle concerns for shipping delays or lost packages. You will not be refunded for the purchase from us if the USPS loses the package unless you purchase the additional insurance. 


  • Shipping fees are non-refundable: Please make sure all addresses are correct before placing your order, we will not refund shipping fees for wrong address on your part or returned shipments. We will not refund shipping fees on returns initiated by the customer or for refunds issued by us. Only if we send the wrong product and you decide you don't want the original products, we will refund the shipping fee. In the event that a package is lost, replacements are sent as case-by-case basis, and customers are asked to cover the shipping fees for the replacement as Pinny Planet is no longer responsible for a package once it is scanned into USPS. You can feel free to insure your package and upgrade to Priority Mail in the event that a package is lost, and USPS will be able to handle your lost package.

SHIPPING FAQ:

  • - The two most common reasons for customers not being able to find their package is…

    1. A friend/roommate/family member brought in the package and forgot to notify the customer that their package arrived

    2. The mail person accidentally delivered the package to a neighbor and marked the package as successfully delivered

    Please ask all loved ones that reside with you if they have seen your package. Please ask your neighbors if they have seen your package. Most packages marked as “delivered” usually end up being one of these situations

    - Contact LOCAL post office immediately after checking with everyone if you cannot find your package! I recommend seeing them in person to really explain the situation and ask who delivered the parcel and ask details about that day's delivery. They are used to these types of questions, and can provide helpful information. You might be able to ask your local post office person to see if they remember your package and if they delivered it to the correct address.

    - If the parcel does not show up, you should file a claim with the Post Office. You can do so over the phone, online, or in person.

    - I unfortunately cannot reimburse orders that were mis-delivered by the post office, declared lost, or stolen from a property...but please email me at pinnyplanet@gmail.com with evidence that you've followed my suggestions above (i.e. showing you filed a claim). We can try to work with what we've got and better your experience!

  • File a Missing Mail Search with USPS. What this does is notifies USPS that your package seems to be missing due to the lack of tracking updates. You will be asked very specific questions about your package as well as seller's info. Please contact me if your package's tracking has not updated! We can both file a missing mail search together to notify USPS that your package is not moving or updating. Please contact me at pinnyplanet@gmail.com if this occurs to one of your packages.

  • I received an email that my package was shipped 1-3 days ago, but the tracking has not moved. Did you ship my order?

  • Yes! Please notify me via email if you'd like me to combine your shipping at pinnyplanet@gmail.com! Please make sure neither of your orders have been confirmed as "shipped" before you do so.
