Bag Details

  • Material: Black vegan leather or medium brown (PU) with gold hardware. PVC window display. Custom interior lining

  • Bag Dimensions: Approximately 11 inches (height) x 10 inches (width) x 3.5 inches (depth). *Measurements do not include window pocket in the front*

  • Backpack Straps: Shoulder strap width is approximately 1.5 inches. Strap Length: Shortest Setting - 25 inches | Longest Setting - 31 inches

  • Crossbody/Shoulder Strap: Shoulder strap width is approximately 1.25 inches. Strap Length: Shortest - 41 inches | Longest - 61 inches

  • Pockets: 1 main zippered compartment, 1 window zippered pocket, 1 zippered back pocket, 1 small zippered interior pocket, 2 open pockets

Pre-Order Freebies

Modifications

  • Sides of the bag no longer “collapse” or bend inward

    • Why?: To reinforce the stitching at the top of the bag and to reinforce the structure of the overall bag. Originally the collapsing sides were for aesthetics, but the reinforced sides will be better for the long run

  • Edges of the bag are reinforced (first model’s edges would bend due to weight)

  • The bottom of the bags will have metal “feet” studs

    • Why?: This will help reduce the amount of wear and tear at the bottom of the bag when it’s being placed on varying surfaces

  • Note: ALL Oxford Pin Bags in Black AND Sienna Brown will have these modifications! I am showing the Original Model in Black for comparison, but this will not be the model sold. The Sienna Brown in these photos is the final model that will be available for pre-order.

How much does it fit?

  • Here is what I would typically take on a daily basis, especially if I’ll be out for a whole day! It’s a good reference to see how much I can fit on a regular day!

Does it fit a SWITCH?

  • Absolutely! Yes!

Does it fit an iPad?

  • It depends on the size, but my iPad 11” fits perfectly, and it can be zippered! Dimensions of iPad 11”: 9.75 x 7.03 x 0.23 in

Does it fit my planner?

  • It depends on the size, but my planner fits pretty well! I’m able to zipper mine but if your planner is a little taller, you could just leave your bag unzipped but still be able to close it with the flap and lock. Dimensions of my planner: 10 x 8.5 x 1 in

Timeline

OCTOBER 7, 2023: Limited pre-order spots open
OCTOBER 2023 - FEBRUARY 2024: Bags put into mass production
MARCH - APRIL 2024: Bags finish production, shipped to me by sea
MAY - JULY 2024: Quality checking, cleaning, etc. & ship out to customers/fulfillment

*The timeline is subject to change depending on the quantity of bags pre-ordered, the state of the pandemic, the manufacturer, the shipping service. Any unprecedented events that could change the timeline will be communicated through updates emails and posts! I have also over-estimated how long the bags should take, so hopefully they come a little sooner than expected.*

How will pre-orders work?

  • Pre-orders is the purchase of an item BEFORE it is available in my shop! You'll be guaranteed a Standard Grade Bag, as well as extra freebie pins!

  • Payments are collected at the time of purchase - there is not an option to pay at a later date. Your payment is used to fund these bags as this is a PRE-ORDER and similar to how Kickstarters work. 

  • Wait time will be about 8-12 months after the pre-order ends, possibly longer if there are delays. You will be charged immediately, but I will be sending out monthly updates via email and blog posts here in my shop for buyers to follow along! I will put the bags into production once the pre-order window is closed in order to accurately determine how many bags will be made!

  • Communication is a top priority in building trust between my buyers and me, so these emails will be personally sent at least once a month.

  • A limited amount of pre-orders will be open on October 7th at 10AM PST! Anyone who places an order will be guaranteed a Standard Grade bag. Pre-orders will not be available again unless inventory has sold out, including in-hand bags! This means that most likely, these bags won't be available in my shop again until 2024!

Payments

  • For pre-orders, I use Stripe to accept card payments. Stripe accepts major cards including:

    • VISA

    • VISA Debit

    • MasterCard

    • Discover

    • JCB

    • American Express

  • Payments are collected at the time of purchase - there is not an option to pay at a later date. Your payment is used to fund these bags as this is a PRE-ORDER and similar to how Kickstarters work. 

  • I will NOT be able to take payments via PayPal for pre-orders. PayPal prohibits sellers from using PayPal as a form of payment for pre-orders unless you can fulfill the pre-order within 20 days. Sellers who do not follow this policy is subject to getting their accounts locked and funds ceased. I want to make sure I follow their policies to avoid any issues with PayPal. Below is a screenshot of PayPal's policy for pre-orders:

  • I will continue to use PayPal for in-hand, ready-to-ship items but not pre-orders. I cannot risk my account being frozen when I use pre-order funds to pay for production.

  • If you rely on PayPal to make payments, I strongly recommend you wait until the bags are in-hand and ready-to-ship later in the year.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING

  • USPS will be used to ship all pre-orders! USPS uses Zone Based Pricing which means they calculate shipping rates based on weight AND distance. Please refer to the zones below and the corresponding shipping estimates in the chart! *Note: In summary, rates are higher the farther you are from Southern California, as my shop is based in SoCal*

  • USPS Ground Advantage Shipping: Ground shipping. Cheapest shipping available. Includes tracking AND insurance of up to $100. Delivery in 2-8 business days.

  • USPS Priority Mail Shipping: Includes tracking AND insurance of up to $100. Delivery in 1-4 days.

  • If you plan to order 3+ bags, shipping estimates can be provided upon request! Please email me at pinnyplanet@gmail.com to inquire!

CANADA SHIPPING

  • USPS will be used to ship all pre-orders to Canada! Customers will be responsible for any VAT/customs/additional fees that your country may collect for you to receive your package

REST OF THE WORLD (INTERNATIONAL) SHIPPING

  • A reputable Global Shipping Service will be used to help provide discounted shipping rates! This is the best rate I can offer to my International buyers! Once the Global Shipping Service enters your country, they will hand off your package to your country's post office system.

  • Customers will be responsible for any VAT/customs/additional fees that your country may collect for you to receive your package

  • Packages will include tracking and insurance. Below is a chart of how much shipping will be for 1 or 2 bags. If purchasing 3+ bags, please email me at pinnyplanet@gmail.com!

  • NOTE: My shop is unable to take orders from Germany due to recent policy changes that began in July 2022.

Respectful Limitations

  • There is no limit to how many bags you may pre-order, BUT please keep in mind that you are purchasing from a SMALL shop! I have created these bags with pin collectors in mind so that everyone can enjoy their pin collections no matter what age they might be or wherever they are! I ask that you do not take advantage of my pre-orders by purchasing multiple bags purely to re-sell and make profit. 

Risks & Challenges

  • PRODUCTION: Delays may occur due to the pandemic or manufacturing issues. The timeline is an estimation based on the state of the world and my manufacturer. There have been times when my bags did not meet my expectations quality-wise, and I personally had hundreds remade to make sure my customers received the best quality bags I can offer. In the event any delays occur, this will all be communicated with my buyers.

  • REFUNDS: Pre-order funds will go directly into production of the bags. Therefore, once pre-orders are made, refunds are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. I will not withhold payment if a refund is being requested, but it is not ideal. I will be reviewing the matter and if any emails/messages seem suspicious or threatening, you will be black-listed from making orders from my shop in the future. If there are any issues with the bag you receive, we can discuss the next steps on how to resolve the matter. Please manage your finances accordingly before placing any pre-orders. If you decide to request for a refund/cancellation, your request will be noted. Multiple requests for a refund/cancellations with my shop will resort into being placed on a blacklist from my shop and service will be refused for future orders.

  • QUALITY: Due to the handmade nature of pin ITA bags, minor imperfections may be present. However, I will do my best to give my pre-order buyers the highest quality bags possible! If there are bags with noticeable imperfections but no compromise in functionality, they will be listed in my store as B Grade bags.
